"Finding the Cure while making it a little more fun and sparkly along the way"
Confections For a Cure Children's Foundation is a Branch of Programs that assists hospitalized children and families; from ages 0-21. We know a hospital environment can be quite frightening for a child, so we strive to #glamup the child's stay in a hospital. If a child is out of our reach we send a #glamitupbag to the child. #glamitup bags are bags filled with goodies such as blankets, stuffed animals and sensory friendly items, that are age and medically appropriate for the child. We also have a phenomenal platform to promote fundraisers. We promote health related fundraisers, such as end of life care treatment, wish trips, service dog fundraising, as well as any other medical needs. Another one of our core programs is the Confection's for a Cure K-9's 4 kids program. This program is an educational resource for children to learn about working/service dogs and how they help the disabled community as well as law enforcement. You can request a visit from a service animal (as long as you reside in the Atlanta area) We also offer free printable coloring sheets. Confections for a Cure is such a special program, unlike any other, because,we provide assistance to any child with a life- altering or terminal illness. We follow the child through diagnosis, treatment, and remission. Unfortunately, sometimes we also follow families until end of life care and expenses. We then help fundraise and connect these families with resources to aleviate some of the financial burdens. We hope to be assistance to you or a family you know with a medically complex child.
